Welcome to My World

Born in Christ Hospital Kapit in 1968, when my dad was the Headmaster for SMK Kapit, I spent my baby years as a Kapitan. Moving to Sibu in the early 70s, I remember the time we stayed at Sungai Baking government Quarters. As young as I was, I remember all the grown ups talking about the Communits threats then. I used to see soldiers near the government quarters patrolling.

I went to Saint Mary's Kindergarden in Sibu. A trishaw picked me up from the Quarters. In the mid 70s we moved to Rajang Park Sibu and I went on to attend school at Sacred Heart Primary School until 1980. From 1981 to 1986 I continued to attend the Sacred Heart Secondary School. After my Malaysian Certificate of Examination I went to continue on my Matriculation at Sekolah Raja Tun Azlan Shah (formerly Sekolah Menengah Sains Taiping)

Then I went to Universiti Sains Malaysia in Minden Penang to do my Applied Science (Biology) with Honours, completing in 1993. Joining the State Civil Service in 1994 was a big move for me as I was exposed to laboratory work all the time I was in the University. Thus my career as a Civil Servant in the Sarawak Civil Service started. My entry point was into the Ministry of Environment & Tourism in 1994. I was confirmed in Service in 1997 and subsequently went on to continue my studies, doing Corpoate Masters in Business Administration with the Centre for Modern Management's joint Ohio University Programme for Government Servants.

I moved on to the State Planning Unit in 2001, where I am service till this present moment. So most of the websites that I will be sharing in Cyberspace will be the story of my life.
