Clash of the Benak
A Memorable Benak Sighting
My previous Pulau Seduku post has to be highlighted here as I wish to share the video of the Tidal Bore clash phenomenom in this area. Except for that this phenemenom shows the tidal bore waves clashing on the sandbar of Pulau Seduku as the tide water rises, the starting point of the tidal bores journey along the Batang Lupar stretch. This was witnessed from Pulau Seduku jetty. This video of Benak Clash may just be a sign of the upcoming By Elections that will be held in N.29 Batang Ai soon, where we will get to see a clash of politics. As in this video, I would prefer to be in the spectator role as my job requires neutrality but I am sure Sri Aman town will become a base for the clashing political fronts as there would not be sufficient accomodation facilities in Batang Ai for both side's election machineries. The best I can do is just provide an up to date report of the ongoing events as it goes on.
